Privacy Policy

Earnify (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our bandwidth marketplace platform, including our website, desktop client, mobile SDK, and related services.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we generate a unique account token. We do not require or collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information for account creation.

2.2 Technical Data

• IP address — used for geolocation (country-level) to enable geographic routing and to calculate earnings.
• Device identifier — an anonymized device ID used to prevent duplicate registrations and track device count. On Android, this is derived from the Android ID.
• Bandwidth usage — measured server-side in bytes transferred. Used for compensation calculation.
• Connection metadata — connection timestamps and session duration for service quality.

2.3 What We Do Not Collect

• We do not inspect, log, or store the content of traffic routed through earner connections.
• We do not collect browsing history, DNS queries, or destination addresses of routed traffic from earners.
• We do not sell personal data to third parties.

• To operate and maintain the bandwidth marketplace, including matching earners with buyers based on geographic location.
• To calculate and distribute compensation to earners.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and artificial bandwidth inflation.
• To monitor service health and performance.
• To enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

Account data and usage statistics are stored in encrypted databases with access restricted to authorized systems. Bandwidth usage counters are stored in Redis with time-limited keys (daily stats: 48-hour TTL, monthly stats: 62-day TTL, daily earnings: 90-day TTL).

All connections between earner clients and our servers run over a custom UDP protocol.

When the Earnify SDK is embedded in a third-party application, the following applies:

• The SDK collects the same technical data described in Section 2.2.
• The SDK does not activate until the host application explicitly grants consent by calling the consent API.
• In Anonymous mode, no account token or SDK key is associated with the session — the client is identified only by a random per-process ID, providing maximum privacy for users who wish to contribute bandwidth without tracking.
• Third-party developers are contractually required to obtain informed user consent before activating the SDK, as outlined in our SDK Developer Agreement.

• Account data is retained for the lifetime of the account.
• Daily bandwidth and earnings data is retained for 90 days.
• Monthly bandwidth data is retained for 62 days.
• Connection logs (if any) are ephemeral and not persisted beyond the active session.

You have the right to:

• Request information about the data we hold associated with your account token.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Revoke consent for bandwidth sharing at any time through the client or SDK, which immediately stops all data sharing.

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
