Client Situation: The management was concerned about the lack of ownership by employees of their deliverables and the organisation's overall performance. They opined that the employees did not behave as if they had any skin in the game. Therefore, they desired to implement appropriate measures to alter the situation so that employees contributed their best to the business.

The solution offered: A set of easy to measure yet effective performance measures for the whole organisation and across all departments was developed and rolled out. A roadmap for transiting from a fixed salary to part performance-linked salaries was developed and implemented. The training was imparted to the Heads of the departments and key Employees to sensitise them about performance-based culture.

Outcome: The employees adapted to the high-performance culture because of the strategic roll-out and handholding. The initiative also resulted in a heightened sense of belonging among the employees.
